Making Time For God During The Busy Days (My Guest Post At My Joy-Filled Life)

During different seasons of a mother’s life it can be difficult to steal away a little time alone to spend in the Word and prayer.

A few years ago I dealt with this. In fact, it is what inspired the main topic and title of Raising Sticky Hands To Heaven.

To say that much has changed in this department would be false. My life is still rather chaotic and changes from day to day. Here and there I am able to find time alone for worship and Bible time, but usually I have to be creative.

My Joy-Filled Life

I was blessed with the opportunity to share about this topic on Mom 2 Mom Mondays at My Joy-Filled Life today. There is nothing I love to do more than to encourage other moms in their walk with the Lord. Why not head on over to Sarah’s blog at My Joy-Filled Life and see what I had to share on how I got a handle on my time with Jesus when I really didn’t have time at all. While you’re there, leave a comment on how you make time for God. Read some of the other posts in the Mom 2 Mom Mondays series, and be sure to read some of what Sarah has written. I just love her heart for God, family, pregnancy, and more. She is truly inspiring.

See you there!

Angie editor

Angie, a mother of 5, currently lives in West Tennessee with her husband of 13 years, Bobby, & 3 of their children. She is a Military Mom to her oldest child and also a non-custodial mother of 1 that lives with her during the Summer and visits during other parts of the year. Angie is a stay at home mom, homeschooling all 3 of her younger children. (She plans to homeschool her children through high school graduation.) She'll be the first to admit she is human & full of flaws. Every day she praises God for His grace & mercy on her life. She's lived in 5 different states, grew up in a Pastor's home, loves to craft & sew, and is what you would call a "Disney Geek" since birth. Her dream of returning to school has finally come true, so when not studying her free time is spent hanging out with her Hubster, talking & playing with her kids, reading, attempting to play piano, sewing, crafting, and helping wherever she can at her local church. If you have any questions or for any other reason need to contact someone about this blog, she is the one to contact. You can email her at Angie (at) RaisingStickyHands (dot) com.
