Well, here we are. Another Tuesday. Another opportunity to enjoy the gift of life that our Lord has given us.
I don’t have much on the agenda today. A little homeschool with Tommy, make a few lap books, and hopefully finish up a sewing project I’ve been working on the last few months.
Oh, and yeah, I’m starting back to my diet today. Thankfully, I only gained 2lbs since I took my break a few weeks ago.
Last night I laid in bed tossing and turning. All I could think of was how much I miss exercising. I haven’t made a true effort to stick to a regular work out routine in some time. I miss the endorphins, the soreness, the awareness that I was doing something good for myself. So, another goal for today is to get everything in place to start back right away. This will include setting up our forgotten DVD player for my workout DVDs (Richard Simmons’ “Sweatin’ To The Oldies” & Lindsay Brin’s “Postnatal Bootcamp”), putting batteries in my Wii balance board, and finding all my workout clothes and putting them in one place. I’m so excited!
As a result, I couldn’t get this good ol’ song from Saved By The Bell out of my head:
Put your mind to it, go for it. Get down and break a sweat… Rock n Roll… You ain’t seen nothing yet!
Is it in your head too now? Good. Because that was my goal.
Thankfully, God put a new song in my heart this morning. “Our God Reigns”! Hallelujah!
How lovely are the mountains at the feet of Him
Who brings good news, Good news!
Something to shout about!
Time to go teach my little guy about community helpers. Preschool is just too much fun, no?
